Our Freedown Hills Wagyu Featured on James Martin’s Saturday Morning
We’re delighted to share that this weekend, our Freedown Hills Wagyu was featured on James Martin’s Saturday Morning on ITV, a proud moment celebrating the quality and craftsmanship behind our British Wagyu beef range.
British Wagyu in the Spotlight
On this week’s episode, James Martin showcased some of our finest Freedown Hills Wagyu cuts: Ribeye Steak, 14-day Dry-Aged Striploin Steak, Burgers, and our brand-new Wagyu Beef Bacon.
Each cut was cooked live on the show in front of acclaimed chefs Simon Hulstone and Ryan & Liam Simpson-Trotman, who witnessed first-hand the rich marbling, tenderness, and depth of flavour that make our Wagyu exceptional.
James prepared the steaks simply and beautifully, searing them to perfection and finishing with a vibrant chimichurri sauce that elevated the buttery texture and savoury notes of the meat. The reactions in the studio said it all: British Wagyu at its best.
Raised with Care in Yorkshire
Our Freedown Hills Wagyu is proudly raised in Yorkshire, where animal welfare, sustainable farming, and natural feeding practices combine to produce beef of extraordinary quality. The result is indulgent, flavour-packed meat with exquisite marbling and tenderness, all with a distinctly British character.
