You will receive a notification from the courier telling you when to expect the delivery of your parcel. As the content of the parcel is temperature sensitive, please make sure that someone is there to accept the delivery.

Once delivered, you will immediately receive an email notification from the courier with details such as time of delivery as well as a picture of your parcel handed over or left in a safe place.
Please note that once we have received the proof of delivery provided by our courier, we are no longer liable for any issues you might encounter such as theft or damages.

MISCELLANEOUS

What does the Japanese Grading stand for?

The grading of Wagyu is determined by the Japan Meat Grading Association.

Japanese Wagyu grading system:

  1. Wagyu in Japan is graded based on various factors including marbling, color, texture, and fat quality.
  2. The grading scale ranges from the lowest, Grade C, to the highest, Grade A5.
  3. Marbling, known as "sashi," is a crucial element in determining grade, with higher marbling indicating higher quality.
  4. The letter grade represents yield (A, B, or C) and the number (1-5) indicates quality, with A5 being the highest.
  5. A5 Wagyu signifies the highest level of marbling and tenderness, offering a luxurious and intensely flavorful dining experience.
  6. Grading ensures transparency and consistency in the quality of Wagyu for consumers.
Are your products fresh or frozen?

Please see product description.

The meat is slightly defrosted, what should I do?

Upon arrival of your order, please put the meat in your freezer as soon as possible if you are not planning to consume it in the next 5 following days.
If some thawing has occurred in transit, please be assured it is safe to refreeze. We deliver with the award-winning Woolcool® packaging and extra ice packs, but some thawing is some times inevitable outside with small products such as steaks.
