Description

Iberico Pork Secreto is one of Spain's best-kept secrets. A fantastically tender and highly prized steak hidden behind the shoulder and under the back fat, the secreto has a long grain with stripes from the dense marbling found in this cut. It has the distinctively rich and nutty flavour of the Iberian acorn-fed pigs. It is a wide, flat piece of meat, ideal for flash frying and serving over vibrant fresh salads, or warming bowls of risotto. The stripes of marbling in this cut turn a gorgeous golden brown, adding colour, texture and an abundance of flavour to any meal.

Fantastic quality

This Iberico pork is delicious. For anyone who has not tasted Iberico pork I encourage you to do so. The quality of this and other Iberico products from Meat at Home even is better than when I have bought similar products whilst visiting Spain.

Fantastic on bbq

This is so nice cooked really quickly of hot coals with nothing more than some quality salt. Served pink.

Sliced pork secreto

Very tasty meat would have given 5 stars but the slices were very irregular (2 very small ones, one larger)

Much like a good steak, prefect with simple seasoning (even just salt) and searing on a ripping how pan. Enjoy the nutty flavour of the pork!

When seasoned, cooked quickly over the highest heat you can generate, then rested, this has to be as tasty as it gets!
