Iberico pork burgers offer a unique twist on the classic beef burger, renowned for their rich flavour and tender texture. Made from the finest cuts of Iberico pork, these burgers boast a natural sweetness and nuttiness that sets them apart. Perfect for grilling or pan-frying, they provide a gourmet alternative that delights both casual diners and culinary enthusiasts alike.

Ingredients: Iberian pork meat (77%), water, cereals and vegetables (4%), -pea fibre, cornflour, rice flour, corn starch- salt, spices

Cooking instructions

Step 1: Preheat your grill or pan

• Preheat your grill to medium-high heat or your frying pan over medium heat. You want it hot enough to get a nice sear but not too high to avoid burning.

Step 2: Prepare the burgers

• While your grill or pan heats up, take the frozen Iberico pork burgers out of the freezer. No need to thaw them, they cook perfectly from frozen.

Step 3: Lightly oil and season

• Lightly brush both sides of the burgers with a bit of olive oil to prevent sticking and enhance the flavour (we have some amazing flavoured olive oils from Kalios). If you’d like, sprinkle a little salt and pepper for extra seasoning, although Iberico pork is already rich in flavour.

Step 4: Cook the burgers

• Grill or pan-fry the burgers for 6-7 minutes per side.
• On the grill: Place the burgers directly on the grates.
• On the stove: Put the burgers in the preheated pan.
• Cook until they reach an internal temperature of 70°C. They should have a nice brown crust outside and still be juicy inside.

Step 5: Rest the burgers

• Once they’re done, let them rest for a minute or two. This helps the juices redistribute, so every bite is moist and flavourful.

Step 6: Assemble and enjoy!

• Serve the burgers on a bun (we love brioche) with your favourite toppings, cheese, lettuce, tomato, or a tangy aioli. Iberico pork’s flavour pairs beautifully with simple, fresh ingredients.
