Our whole chicken comes from the rolling countryside of North Yorkshire, a region known for its patchwork fields, clean air, and long farming heritage. This landscape, with its open pasture, mixed woodland, and rich agricultural soil, provides the perfect environment for slow-grown, high-welfare poultry.
At the heart of this tradition is Herb Fed, an independent North Yorkshire farm dedicated to raising poultry with exceptional care and natural flavour. Their birds roam freely in spacious outdoor ranges and are uniquely fed a diet that includes fresh-cut herbs grown locally. This herb-enriched feed, combined with plenty of natural light and movement, produces chickens with outstanding texture, depth, and succulence.
