Description
Iberico Pork French Chops are cut from the Loin, between the hips and shoulders of the Iberico Pata Negra Pigs. French Chop means the rib bone has been removed of meat and is visible. Think of a classic Pork Chop with the addition of the rich beautiful, nutty-sweet flavour unique to Iberico. Known as the “Wagyu of Pork” with its heavy marbling, it is above and beyond anything you have tasted before.
It can serve either one or two people. The answer to a super quick and easy supper: pair with braised lentils, roasted fennel and a squeeze of lemon juice. The combination of the aniseed flavour from the fennel with the smooth, smoky aroma of the lentils complements such an exquisite piece of meat.

Absolutely delicious ! Pan fry for 2 minutes each side in a dry pan then in the oven as it quite a thick one ( I won’t do that for the thin one I have ) for 3 minutes - rested for 5 minutes - can’t fault it !
Although some cooking times instructions would have been helpful .

Tendor and intense flavour, best with charcoal grill but pan fry won't disappoint anyway. Does cost considerably more than local breeds but definitely worth it.

Delicate if you can describe a pork chop as that. A departure from the norm and would definitely buy again.

We lived in Spain for 21 years and loved Iberico pork chops. Although expensive in the UK Meat me at home Iberico Chops are well worth it. The taste is delicious..

How can a pork chop taste so good? We love pork, especially when done on a BBQ. We had tried Iberico Pork previously, in Thailand of all places and loved it. We purchased our Iberico French Chop on line from Meat Me At Home and they duly arrived, well packaged, shortly after. I prepared the meat, seasoning with salt, Kampot Pepper and Herbes de Provence. After grilling on the BBQ, the chops were juicy, extremely tasty and had the texture of a well cooked fillet steak. Definitely a 5star dining experience. Run of the mill pork chops are now a thing of the past.
