|Whole Wagyu Striploin BMS 3-5: Min ±5kg / 176.37oz|
The Wagyu Striploin BMS 3-5 are an excellent choice for first time Wagyu buyers. The Striploin is a very lean cut with one strip of fat running along the outside of the steak. The light marbling within the steak gives a robust but nuanced flavour and feel to the palette. A generous sprinkling of salt flakes and 3 minutes in a heavy smoking-hot skillet is all you’ll need to create a taste sensation like no other.
You can get 15 delicious steaks from this whole muscle. Or cut into thinner steaks for more.
Our Australian Darling Downs Wagyu is one of Australia’s most prestigious beef brands. Wagyu beef contains the finely distributed and highly desirable levels of marbling sought after by many of the world’s most celebrated chefs. The superb texture and unique depth of flavour found in our Darling Down Wagyu creates a culinary experience that can only be described as extraordinary.
The Australian Agricultural Company (AAco), founded in 1824, is Australia’s most well-known and well regarded producer of Wagyu cattle. Expansive outback stations cover a pristine and picturesque area approximately the size of Ireland. Born and raised in a naturally clean and safe environment, Darling Downs Wagyu cattle are certified “free from hormone growth promotants.” DNA traceability and the world-leading Sure Trak (tm) identification system ensure the highest levels of integrity and food safety are maintained.
AAco’s Aronui feedlot, located in the heart of the famous Darling Downs region of Queensland is recognised as one of the few specialist Wagyu feedlots in the world. Highly skilled and loyal staff closely guard feeding formulations passed down from cattle feeding masters in Japan. Such attention to detail and pursuit of perfection guarantees this unparalleled eating experience.
For a healthy but quick and easy side dish full of vitamins and fibre, chunk a couple of sweet potatoes, sprinkle with a bit of sugar and butter, cover with cling film and kitchen foil and pop them in the oven on full whack for 20 minutes. Take the cling film and foil off and put them back in the oven until golden brown, 10 minutes maximum. You’ll have to fight off the kids at the table to get your fair share.
A slightly lighter but still acidic red wine will be an excellent match for these leaner Wagyu Striploin BMS 3-5 steaks. A nice Beaujolais Village is always a good choice.
