      Premium Wagyu Ribeye BMS 6-7

Delicate, buttery, sweet and smooth all describe our Wagyu Ribeye steak. The Ribeye has historically been a popular cut in the US, but it is gaining international notoriety for its generous marbling and fuller flavour. This Wagyu Ribeye BMS 6-7 will make an extraordinary, mouth-watering experience for everyone at the table.

      Accompaniments

Wagyu beef is undeniably the royalty of red meat. It’s beautiful to behold, graceful and dignified on the palette. Its best served simply. Grill for 2 minutes on each side in a smoking-hot heavy skillet and let it rest 5 minutes in a slightly warm oven. You won’t believe the flavour it has with just sea salt flakes. It goes well with restrained sides dishes that allow the Wagyu to demand the attention it rightly deserves. Oven roast Baby Portobello mushroom caps with sprigs of fresh rosemary alongside plum tomatoes for a dinner that will inspire students and master chefs alike.

To cook as a whole piece, season the outside with a little oil and salt. Sear on all sides in a really hot heavy based frying pan and transfer to a preheated oven for 20-30 minutes at 180. Remove from the oven and rest for 15 minutes. Serve sliced at the table with gorgeous roast potatoes, yorkshire puddings, a dollop of horseradish and some sweet carrots.

A big red wine like a Malbec with its light fruity, earthiness will always please when paired with our Wagyu Ribeye BMS 6-7 steak.

Mix a classic Whiskey Highball for a palette cleansing cocktail. Fill a highball glass with chipped ice and bourbon, top with ginger ale, stir.

Our superior quality Darling Downs Wagyu comes from one of Australia's oldest companies, Australian Agricultural Company (AAco) founded in 1824.  AAco is one of Australia's most experienced and exacting producers of Wagyu. AAco's Darling Downs Wagyu has the enviable reputation of being Australia's most prestigious Wagyu brand. AAco's Wagyu herd comprise the most highly credentialed full-blood Japanese Black Wagyu sires and breeding females ever to leave Japan.

Wagyu cattle have a genetic predisposition to marbling, and they are fed a special grain based diet. The increased marbling also improves the ratio of monounsaturated fats to saturated fat. Our Darling Downs Wagyu contains a higher percentage of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids than typical beef.

These cattle are born and raised in a naturally clean environment and they are given the best possible care and feeding throughout their lives. The end product reflects that! The Aronui feedlot, located in the heart of the famous Darling Down region has the reputation of being one of the few specialised Wagyu feedlots in the world. Furthermore, no growth-promoting hormones or animal by-products are used in their feeding program which strictly follows the regimes passed on from cattle feeding masters in Japan.
