Wagyu Bone-In Ribeye Steak
Delicate, buttery, sweet and smooth all describe our Wagyu Ribeye steak. The ribeye has historically been a popular cut in the US, but it is gaining international notoriety for its generous marbling and fuller flavour. This steak will make an extraordinary, mouth-watering experience for everyone at the table.
A bone-in ribeye is a beautiful steak, but slightly more complex. The bone will insulate the meat and it will help keep its moisture, meatiness, and juiciness.
For a perfectly cooked steak, you should preheat your oven to 200°C. Start by seasoning your steak with salt and pepper. Heat 2 teaspoons of oil on medium-high heat in a cast-iron skillet and sear the steaks for two minutes on each side. Then roast the steak in an oven for 8-10 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Please be aware that the meat closer to the bone will cook slower.
